"Just had a typical French breakfast here before my flight back home. People sitting outside on the square, waitresses were a bit chaotic and took time to place my order, but maybe because they just opened? Anyway, enjoyed my latte with croissant and French baguette with French butter and apricot jam."

"We came here for lunch. The oyster and fish was fresh. French onion soup was excellent, and so was the duck confit. The staff was friendly."

"My steak was perfect, but my nephew's steak was tough to eat. Everything else was great. The staff was very awesome."

"Visited here 3 times on our recent visit to Carcassonne for lunch. The menu de jour (3 courses) is great value, with really good, simple food, cooked well and perfect portion sizes. the atmosphere (you can eat inside or out on the square) is great. Great value wine and beers. Superb staff, very attentive and helpful, even with my poor french!"

"We finished our stay in the city with steak and fries, beer and wine. It was all perfect. The seating outdoors in the sun was what we wanted. The service was quick and the price was extremely reasonable. Very happy with our choice and an excellent way to end the holiday."

"Great restaurant. At first we were sceptical going there because of the relatively low reviews. But the special menu of the day looked nice so we decided to give it a try. We had a group of eight people ranging between 23-83 years old. Everybody liked the food and the service. Good value for money! A set menu with a starter main and a desert for €17. Since none of us wanted any desert they just charged us €14.5 per person. I had a tasty sea bream with a creamy sauce and red paprika and a Caesar salad for starter. The waitress spoke very good English and understood everyone. She seems very professional and 110% confident, which resulted in a positive experience with everyone being happy. Merci"

"Had lunch here. Reasonably priced seemingly very popular with the locals. No issue with the mussels even though it was Sunday. Staff all very friendly."

"I tried their menu bouillion 10€ on Friday lunchtime. Exceptional value. The onion soup was good but the blanquette de veau was ridiculously good: very decent quality veal and an unctuous creamy sauce. Bravo."
